A Framework for Major Emergency Management sets out standardised procedures to provide an interrelated, interdependent and interoperable response to emergency declarations in Ireland. It provides for clear leadership with defined Command and Control processes and procedures at local, regional and national level for the designated Principal Response Agencies, An Garda Síochána, The Health Service Executive (HSE) and the Local Authority.
